Singapore, April 24, 2025 — As GE2025 takes shape, popular Singaporean current affairs and comedy podcast Yah Lah But, with the support of fintech platform Lendela, is hitting the road in a one-of-a-kind way—with a decked-out, fully mobile "APolitical Party Bus". From April 24, hosts Haresh Tilani and Terence Chia will be releasing one episode a day during the hustings period, recorded across all 33 GRCs and SMCs.
"We’re not affiliated with any political party. This is our way of giving Singaporeans the mic while bringing a touch of good ol’ humour to election coverage," said Yah Lah But co-host Terence Chia.
The series aims to inject transparency, humour, and authentic local voices into the national conversation around GE2025. With 10 GE-related episodes and covering ground over the 33 constituencies, the Yah Lah But APolitical Party Bus will traverse the island with mics rolling and minds open, offering listeners the chance to hear how Singapore is really feeling, unfiltered and on-the-ground.
Supported by Lendela as its Official Transparency Ally, the campaign hopes to bring its message of transparency and balanced discourse to Singaporeans across the island, providing a platform for all perspectives to be heard and considered, ultimately helping Singaporeans make an informed decision. As voters face an increasingly uncertain world, the APolitical Party Bus hopes to bring much-needed transparency into public discourse—on air and on the road.
“In a time of increasing economic uncertainty, growing concerns over the cost of living, and differing views on Singapore’s place in a changing world, it’s never been more important for Singaporeans to engage in transparent discourse, demand transparent policy-making, and expect transparent answers to difficult questions. We’re really excited to be supporting the brilliant Yah Lah But crew in bringing us all one step closer to that reality, and of course, in helping Singaporeans make an informed decision this GE,” said Bryan Tay, Singapore country manager at Lendela.
