CDC Vouchers 2026/27: How Much You Get, How to Claim Each Tranche, and Where to Use Them

CDC Vouchers have grown since they were first announced. What started as a $500 disbursement in June 2026 is now an $800 total across two separate tranches, after the government added a further $300 in late July. • June 2026 tranche: $500 per household, split $250 for supermarkets and $250 for heartland merchants and hawkers. Claiming opened 11 June 2026.

• January 2027 tranche: an additional $300 per household, announced 29 July 2026 as part of a $900 million government support package responding to elevated global energy and living costs linked to the Middle East situation.

Combined, that's $800 in CDC Vouchers across the two disbursements, up from the original $500 plan.

Why the extra $300 was added

The January 2027 top-up wasn't part of the original schedule. It was announced alongside enhanced U-Save rebates and increased ComCare assistance, as part of a broader package to help households absorb higher fuel, electricity, and import costs while global energy prices stay elevated. It's worth knowing this tranche exists precisely because it's newer and less publicised than the June payout, some households may not realise it's coming.

Claim windows and validity, by tranche

June 2026 tranche: claimed via Singpass at go.gov.sg/cdcv, valid until 31 December 2027. The $250 supermarket and $250 heartland allocations aren't interchangeable.

January 2027 tranche: disbursed and claimable from January 2027. As with the June tranche, expect a Singpass claim step rather than automatic crediting, check go.gov.sg/cdcv when the claim window opens for exact validity dates for this specific tranche.

Because the two tranches have separate claim processes and separate expiry dates, it's worth treating them as two to-dos rather than one, especially since the January tranche will be newer and easier to forget once claimed.

How to claim

Claim digitally via Singpass at go.gov.sg/cdcv. Only one household member needs to make the claim, and you'll receive the voucher link by SMS once processed. Non-household members claiming on someone else's behalf need a completed authorisation form and supporting documents at a Community Centre/Club.

Where you can, and can't, spend them

CDC Vouchers work at participating heartland merchants, hawker stalls, and supermarkets islandwide. They cannot be used for lottery, petrol, diesel, alcohol, or cigarettes, and cannot be used online. Merchants can't give cash change on vouchers, so a purchase smaller than the voucher denomination needs a cash top-up for the difference.

A practical note for tighter months

With $800 now spread across two tranches instead of one, it's worth planning both claims deliberately rather than letting either sit unclaimed.
