As at October 2026, five forms of support are still live. HDB households receive their October U-Save rebate, between $110 and $190 a quarter depending on flat type, credited automatically to their SP Group account. CDC Vouchers are still spendable: the $300 January tranche until 31 December 2026, and the $500 June tranche until 31 December 2027. Climate Vouchers worth $400 per household can be used on eligible appliances until 31 December 2027. LifeSG credits of $500 per eligible child, credited from 14 July 2026, remain usable for about 12 months. And ComCare's enhanced support is open for applications until 31 December 2026.
The two largest cash payouts of the year have already landed. The GST Voucher (up to $850) was paid in August, and the Cost-of-Living Special Payment ($400 to $600) in September, both automatically. If you were eligible and haven't received them, check Singpass or GovBenefits. Much of this period's support comes from the $900 million package announced on 29 July 2026.
January 2026 CDC Vouchers ($300): $150 for supermarkets and $150 for heartland merchants, valid until 31 December 2026. Unspent balances do not roll over. How to claim and spend your CDC Vouchers
ComCare enhanced support: Interim Assistance of at least $250 a month for up to three months, with a more flexible income threshold, open from 17 August to 31 December 2026. Apply via SupportGoWhere or at any Community Club or Centre. Who qualifies for ComCare
U-Save rebates: $110 to $190 every quarter this financial year for eligible HDB households, credited to your SP Group utilities account in October 2026 and January 2027. This reduces your bill rather than paying cash. U-Save rebates 2026/27
Assurance Package: AP Cash of $100 to $600 depending on income and property ownership, plus AP U-Save, with components paid on separate schedules. What each Assurance Package payout is worth
GST Voucher Cash (August 2026): up to $850 for Singapore Citizens aged 21 and above with an Assessable Income of $39,000 or below and no more than one property. Seniors aged 65 and above also received a separate MediSave top-up. GSTV payout 2026
Cost-of-Living Special Payment (September 2026): $400 to $600 in cash for Singapore Citizens aged 21 and above with an Assessable Income of $100,000 or below and no more than one property. Cost-of-Living Special Payment 2026
June 2026 CDC Vouchers ($500): $250 for supermarkets and $250 for heartland merchants, valid until 31 December 2027.
Climate Vouchers ($400): one set per household, for eligible energy- and water-efficient appliances, valid until 31 December 2027. They cannot be converted to cash. What Climate Vouchers cover
LifeSG credits ($500 per child): for Singapore Citizen children aged 12 or younger as of 1 June 2026, usable for about 12 months from disbursement. How to claim and use LifeSG credits
An extra $300 in CDC Vouchers per household, announced on 29 July 2026, with validity details still to be confirmed. January 2027 is also the last confirmed enhanced U-Save quarter. Planning a home purchase as well? The BTO and HFE checklist sets out the cash you'll need upfront.
Payouts help with everyday costs, but they rarely cover a larger bill on their own. If you're weighing a bigger expense, it helps to see your real borrowing options, with the total cost laid out, before you decide.

Do I need to apply for government payouts in Singapore? Most cash payouts, including the GST Voucher, the Cost-of-Living Special Payment and AP Cash, are paid automatically to eligible Singapore Citizens. CDC Vouchers and Climate Vouchers must be claimed via Singpass, and ComCare support needs an application through SupportGoWhere or a Community Club or Centre.
When do my 2026 CDC Vouchers expire? The $300 January 2026 tranche expires on 31 December 2026, and the $500 June 2026 tranche on 31 December 2027. Unspent balances don't carry over, so it's worth using the January tranche first.
I was eligible but didn't receive my GSTV or Cost-of-Living payment. What should I do? Check your payout status on Singpass or GovBenefits first. Payments go to your PayNow-NRIC-linked account, your bank account on record, or by GovCash, so missing or outdated details are the most common reason for a delay.
Is U-Save the same as a cash payout? No. U-Save is credited to your SP Group utilities account and reduces your bill. It doesn't appear in your bank account, but it frees up money you would otherwise spend on utilities.
